Bill has been a resident of Duporth Bay for over 24 years.  He has chaired St Austell Bay Parish Council since its inception and he also chairs the Duporth Bay Residents' Association and the Fowey River Practice Patient Participation Group.

Bill sits on the Regatta Working Party, Staffing Committee and South Cornwall Area Partnership meetings.

Jackie lives in Charlestown and has a long history of public service, previously being a Borough, Town and Cornwall Councillor.  She was the last Mayor of Restormel Borough Council and ran a charitable cause for china clay pensioners.  Steeped in planning, being a previous Chair of a Cornwall Council planning committee, she cares passionately about our environment and especially the vulnerable in society.

Jackie sits on the Staffing Committee, Traffic Working Party and South Cornwall Area Partnership meetings.

Sandie is proudly Cornish and now being retired from the NHS is putting back into her community by volunteering in any way she can.  Apart from "anything Cornish" her main interest is art.  Sandie is an accomplished painter, specialising in depicting the land and seascapes of this beautiful county  She is secretary of the St Austell Society of Artists and is also a committee member of St Austell Healthcare Patient Participation Group.

Sandie sits on the Regatta Working Party and the Traffic Working Party.

Nick lives in Duporth, having retired there in 2017.  As well as a parish councillor he also volunteer for the National Coastwatch Institution at NCI Charlestown and is part of the local RNLI fundraising team giving tours of the all-weather lifeboat in Fowey.  Until recently he was a presenter on a local community radio station, presenting a weekly music show featuring glam, punk, new wave and Britpop, and will be restarting this in the near future.

Nick sits on the Traffic Working Party and the History Working Party.

Sue has been a resident of Duporth Bay for over 24 years and is also the secretary of Duporth Bay Residents' Association.  Among her many past roles within the parish council she chaired the group comprising of residents and parish councillors who wrote the St Austell Bay Neighbourhood Plan, a key document in the management and protection of the parish.  The Plan was adopted in 2021 and is effective until 2030.

Sue sits on the Regatta Working Party and has oversight of The Pattern Hall.

Trudy lives in Trenarren, her main interests are walking, the environment and animal welfare.  Trudy is the Tree Warden for the parish and organises the regular Diggers and Doers activities.

Trudy sits on the History Working Party and the Environment and Climate Crisis Working Party.

Matt lives in Duporth and is also a volunteer Director of the Duporth Development CIC.  When not volunteering you will find Matt in or on the water of St Austell Bay as he is a keen paddle boarder, sea swimmer and kayaker.  He was previously in the Royal Air Force and is a certified First Aider.

Matt assists with facilities management.

Richard lives just outside Charlestown and currently works as a childrens' charity press officer.  He was a local journalist for more than 20 years in which time he attended, and reported on, many meetings held by Cornwall Council.

Christine sits on the Staffing Committee and has responsibility for internal control checks. 

Julie Larter

Julie is the "Proper Officer" of the council, her role is to advise the council on procedure, ensuring that all decisions it makes are lawful, and she gives independent and objective advice to councillors on various matters.  She is also the Responsible Financial Officer and has responsibility for the council's resources, both financial and otherwise, including managing the council's staff.  Julie has been with the council for 15 years, having spent the majority of her working life in public service.
