Welcome to the official website for St Austell Bay Parish Council
Our parish council is relatively new, having been formed in 2009 when Cornwall became a unitary authority. There are three wards, Charlestown, Duporth and Porthpean and Trenarren, represented by 9 councillors. The council usually meets on the third Thursday of each month in The Pattern Hall, Foundry Parc, Charlestown. Members of the public are very welcome to attend our meetings and are given an opportunity to speak.

Cleaner Required
The Parish Council is looking for a part-time cleaner for its public conveniences in Charlestown. The position is for 2 hours per week (weekends).During the Easter holidays and from mid July to Mid September there is a requirement to carry out a 2nd clean in the afternoon, with an additional requirement to provide cover at other times for annual leave.
