Seagull Egg Removal

Many of our residents have seagulls nesting on their roof or chimney stack during the spring.  Gulls can be very noisy and aggressive when they are sitting on eggs and feeding chicks.  The parish council funds a scheme each spring to remove seagull eggs and replace them with dummies.  This helps reduce the gull population and sitting birds get fed up waiting for their young to hatch and leave the nest sooner than they would otherwise.
